How I’m making lemonade from lemons while travelling to work

I’ve always loved traveling. Yes, the seeing new places part is cool. But even just the transit parts of traveling hold an appeal for me.
Sitting in a train carriage forces my ADHD self to sit still and be alone with my thoughts. It is so much harder to avoid myself when I can’t access consistent Wi-Fi or run around keeping busy.
I am forced to sit, to contemplate, and take some time with myself.
This coming year is going to be one big mission for me. I am ticking off some big life goals, which include applying for a Speech & Language Degree Apprenticeship post. There are very few spaces to available in London – so I need to stand head and shoulders above the competition.
The Apprenticeship requires me to retake my Maths and English to a Level 2 minimum. To make myself more appealing as a candidate I am also levelling up my Italian and getting stuck into learning British Sign Language.
In conclusion, I’ve got a lot of study to get through.
